We are seeking a results-driven Business Director to lead our Environmental Services business in Queensland.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position that will drive operational excellence, safety, and client satisfaction within one of Australia's leading environment businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategy and revenue growth plans for the Queensland business to achieve organisational goals and agreed outcomes.
  • Lead project delivery and team performance, ensuring excellence in resourcing, utilisation, and margin management.

  • Responsible for winning work and achieving net revenue and backlog targets, with support from leaders and staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Environmental Science / Engineering, or a related technical degree.
  • 15 years of senior-level experience in environmental services.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and significant project delivery experience.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills, underpinned by deep knowledge of QLD's environmental services market.
