Senior Leadership Opportunity in Commercial Development

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our commercial development efforts across Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by overseeing a portfolio of complex industrial decarbonization projects from initial contact through deal execution.

Your primary focus will be on translating corporate growth goals into actionable commercial development strategies across key industrial sectors and geographies. You will also prioritize and oversee the development of high-value opportunities, coordinating cross-functional input to shape competitive, financeable project proposals.

  • Prioritize and develop high-value opportunities
  • Oversee pipeline health, deal stage progression, and revenue forecasting
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine how we develop, evaluate, and close deals

You will have a strong track record of success in commercial development, project development, or business development in renewable energy, cleantech, or industrial decarbonization sectors. Your expertise will enable you to build and maintain executive-level relationships with major customers, partners, utilities, and regulators.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial development, project development, or business development in renewable energy, cleantech, or industrial decarbonization sectors
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, including experience managing executives and external stakeholders
