Urban Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Statutory Planner to join our experienced and collaborative planning team at the Adelaide Hills Council.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide planning advice, undertake planning consent and land division assessments on a wide range of development across the Council district, and prepare planning reports. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Formal qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent;
- Detailed knowledge of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 and Regulations;
- A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service;
- Experience in planning assessment in a local or state government role;
- Well-developed communication skills and a proactive attitude to build positive relationships and ensure priorities and deadlines are met;
- The ability to think logically and problem solve to create a positive customer experience.
