As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our Major Maintenance Program, Projects and Major Shutdowns across the Moomba MHF facility.
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to lead a team and drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with maintenance planning to optimize work programs and reduce conflicts.
- Driving compliance with safety standards and ensuring all site activities meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and managing contractor time allocation and productivity.
- Acting as the primary contact for project maintenance and shutdowns.
- Overseeing quality control processes and ensuring work meets high standards.
- Managing contractors and ensuring contract terms are met.
- Identifying and mitigating risks across the works program.
- Providing regular updates on execution progress to senior management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in oil & gas, mining, construction, or equivalent heavy industry.
- Significant experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Deep understanding of maintenance and project management principles.
- Experience leading shutdowns in heavy industry.
- Proficiency in SAP for maintenance functions.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in both Australian and international contexts.
