Supporting Individuals with Complex Needs

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and emotionally intelligent Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide daily living support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and wellbeing.

You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to achieve the goals of the individuals in your care. This role requires a calm and proactive approach to behaviour support, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing daily living support to promote independence and wellbeing.

  • Assisting individuals to achieve their personal goals across various areas of life.

  • SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIFE SKILLS THROUGH EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF ESTABLISHED PLANS AND PROGRAMS.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check.

  • Current Driver's Licence.

  • Current First Aid Certificate.

  • Current CPR.

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification.
