Job Title: Commercial Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Contract Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the administration of commercial contracts, providing support and guidance to the Commercial Director.

The successful candidate will have strong contractual expertise, with a proven track record in contract management, variation and extension of time claims, and dispute resolution. They will also have experience in complex project delivery, with a focus on renewable energy or similar sectors.

This is a mid-senior level position, requiring 10+ years' experience in contract management and a tertiary qualification in a related field. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contractual issue resolution and negotiation
  • Contract review, update and maintenance
  • Risk assessment and critical issue reporting
  • Variations and claims submission and management
  • Dispute resolution and mediation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field, such as law, business or construction management
  • At least 10 years' experience in complex project delivery, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Strong contractual expertise, including contract management, variation and extension of time claims, and dispute resolution
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
