Unlock Engineering Excellence

We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to lead our team of skilled engineers in delivering cutting-edge solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation, improving processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including technology skilling teams, engineering leaders, and key leads, to ensure our engineers have access to the best training and development opportunities. You will also be responsible for promoting and driving all engineering skills-driven training among engineers, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.

  • AI Engineering skills: Work with our AI-powered engineering squad to ensure that engineers are embracing, learning, and utilizing AI tools effectively.
  • Skills-Driven Training: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Job Architecture: Ensure that job architecture is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect best practices and emerging trends.
  • Skills Framework Development: Maintain a transparent skills framework that guides engineers in their development and career progression.
  • Training Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the technology skilling team to ensure training programs are aligned with our goals and objectives.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of current training programs and make recommendations for updates, removals, or improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a technology environment.
  • Good understanding of engineering skills development and training methodologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile ways of working, including tooling such as Jira & Confluence.
  • Demonstrated risk and cost management mindset.
  • Technology background - preferred but not mandatory.
