During these sessions, you will engage in a fitness evaluation and an interview, all in one day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and supervise detainees during critical operations.
- Participate in court proceedings while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Manage conflicts and communicate with empathy, positively influencing the lives of detainees.
- Maintain a professional, fair, and open-minded demeanor towards detainees.
- Ensure safety and security for detainees, staff, and the public.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas.
- Supervise detainees, escort them to appointments or court appearances, and maintain accurate records.
What to Expect at Our Assessment Sessions:
- Presentation detailing the vital role of a Custody Officer within the CS&CS contract.
- Fitness assessment, which includes:
- Beep test (minimum standard: 4.1)
- Illinois Agility Test
- Dead ball lift over the shoulder
- Incident reporting training.
- Formal interview process.
Requirements:
- Availability for full-time training for 6 weeks.
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 months to achieve qualifications.
- Must be an Australian/NZ Citizen or permanent resident.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
