About the Role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join the Control Centre Team based in Western Australia. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to assist in the delivery of several functions, including Prisoner Escorting, Fleet & Depot Maintenance, and the Response team.

The Logistics Operations Manager will report directly into the Deputy Director and play a critical part in the rollout of a new fleet of vehicles. We are looking for a unique person who can deliver this solution in the most efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our service delivery and strategic objectives are aligned to our customers' needs.
  • Fleet Management & Administration.
  • Assist in developing business objectives, policies & procedures.
  • Complete internal audits where required.
  • Deliver a high standard of service delivery while maintaining staff and PiC welfare and safety.
  • Ensure compliance against the Court Security and Custodial Services Act 1999.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Leadership and/or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience operating in a logistics role or demonstrated experience in an escort custody operational environment.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation and associated requirements.
  • Ability to implement continuous improvement opportunities; Risk, Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.
