Our Team

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Auditor for a full-time opportunity with our team based in Melbourne, VIC.

This role will be responsible for preparing, planning, conducting, and reporting on internal audit review assignments covering all Salvation Army operations across Australia. You will work closely with stakeholders at every level to ensure understanding and support for the Internal Audit process.

Your Responsibilities

  • End-to-end delivery of audit reviews including planning, designing audit test plans, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Prepare concise and informative audit reports that effectively communicate well-documented audit findings and recommendations.
  • Review, monitor, and confirm action plans submitted by management to address audit findings raised.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, or another related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant professional experience in internal audit, external audit, or accounting.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
