Key Responsibilities- Provide a Maternal and Child Health service delivered within the service program guidelines and standards

- Carry out other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in a community-focused environment
- Knowledge and skills to deliver the Victorian Maternal & Child Health program to the diverse range of families within the municipality
- Well-developed communication skills including interpersonal and written skills
- General computer literacy and specific knowledge of CDIS MCH systems
- Accredited lactation qualification or demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting breast feeding women
- Accreditation as a nurse immuniser or demonstrated knowledge of childhood immunisation
- Ability to be available for same day shifts would be advantageous
- Enhanced Maternal and Child Health experience would be advantageous
- Current practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse Division One with additional qualifications of Midwifery and Maternal & Child Health endorsed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Current Victorian Drivers licence and a motor vehicle and comprehensive insurance
- Current Working with Children check
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check
We require all candidates to have had three doses of COVID-19 vaccination (Essential for work in public health services)
