About The Position In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting & Analysis – Utilize EA's media monitoring platform to deliver daily news updates, provide tailored reports, track emerging issues, and share insights with stakeholders.
Key Competencies
  • Media Relations Expertise – Experience in a front-line media role with a proven track record of generating positive coverage that supports business objectives.
  • Advocacy & Political Awareness – Strong understanding of the role of traditional and social media in advocacy, as well as knowledge of political processes, government, and peak bodies.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills – Ability to craft compelling press releases, opinion pieces, communication plans, speeches, and briefing materials, often distilling complex information.
  • Relationship Building – Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, pitch stories effectively, and create engaging social media content to complement traditional media.
  • Insights & Continuous Improvement – Familiarity with media monitoring, analytics, and emerging trends to identify issues early, provide actionable insights, and continuously improve communication outcomes.
