We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Star of the Sea in Torquay.
About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, your primary focus will be on providing personalized support and care to residents based on their individual needs, preferences, and strengths.
- You will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
- Your role will involve assisting residents with daily living activities, such as personal grooming, mobility, and nutrition, while promoting their independence and dignity.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification; previous experience working in an aged care facility is highly desirable.
- The ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and supportive team environment.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
