About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Specialist to provide specialist General Paediatric services for optimal patient outcomes at our Network Hospitals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, promoting healthy communities, and leading clinical improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services for optimal patient outcomes
  • Deliver quality care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote healthy communities
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance clinical practice and patient care
  • Provide clinical leadership and training to clinicians across multiple disciplines

Working Environment:

Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW. Our hospital features modern facilities, including Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, General Medical and Surgical Wards, Womens Care Unit, Paediatric Unit, Renal Unit, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging department, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.

Requirements:

A current valid NSW Working with Children Check is required for this position.
