About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and growing a high-performing research team.
- Key responsibilities include setting research strategy, guiding technical direction, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure research translates into product impact.
- Leading a team of research scientists and ensuring they are working towards the company's goals.
- Developing and implementing research strategies that align with the company's AI and product objectives.
- Coaching and mentoring research scientists to improve their skills and performance.
- Representing the company in the global AI community through publications, talks, or open-source contributions.
- Proven track record of leading research teams and driving impact.
- Expert knowledge of GANs, Diffusion Models, VAEs, and Autoregressive Models.
- Strong technical skills in ML, AI, or foundational model development and training.
- Able to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
