Control System Specialist Role

We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Control System Specialist. This role involves providing complex technical solutions to clients in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, modifications, adjustments, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on software control systems and equipment supporting gas turbines and compressors.
  • Serving as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for timely and satisfactory resolution of client concerns.
  • Collaboration with clients, engineering, and management teams to ensure site operations and maintenance activities align with technical requirements.
  • Technical guidance provision to solve complex problems in conjunction with coworkers and clients.
  • Providing professional and timely reports related to field services activities and equipment status.
  • Ensuring all in-field activities are carried out safely, complying with quality, customer, and company HSE standards and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrating appropriate training, qualifications, and experience on control panels.
  • Successful experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-finding of industrial gas turbines, auxiliary systems, and/or compressors.
  • Significant experience of troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up, and commissioning of pumps and auxiliary packages.
  • A strong customer service-orientation mindset with ability to lead clients through tough decisions.
  • Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to clients.
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations, adapt to changing demands, and be available at short notice.
  • Ability to proactively take initiative to lead and solve problems using technical and analytical skills.
