Automation and Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and programming of control systems, as well as experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering process control systems for mining projects, utilizing control systems such as GE Cimplicity SCADA, GE Proficy Historian, PAC Machine Edition and/or Emerson RX3i CPE330 Controllers. Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB and VBS is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems for mining projects
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes
  • Maintain and improve existing control systems

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in automation and control systems engineering
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Controls, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining
  • Experience with control systems such as GE Cimplicity SCADA, GE Proficy Historian, PAC Machine Edition and/or Emerson RX3i CPE330 Controllers
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB and VBS preferred but not essential
