Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity

Entura is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of complex projects involving control centres, communication networks, generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

This senior leadership role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide others. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in SCADA systems, proficiency in multi-vendor configurations, and understanding of relevant communication protocols.

Key responsibilities include leading SCADA system design, providing expert engineering advice on regulatory compliance and emerging technologies, acting as a technical lead on major bids and proposals, and managing SCADA-related systems and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or related field), and RPEQ or RPEV accreditation
  • Significant experience in SCADA systems across renewable energy, substations, and grid infrastructure
  • Proficiency in multi-vendor SCADA configurations, RTUs, HMIs, and relevant communication protocols
