B & E Foods, a leading wholesale company in the food industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit and Return Specialist to manage customer returns and process credit requests.

This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations, reviewing and assessing return requests, and processing credits in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate for this role has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and process customer return requests, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to return policies.
  • Review returned products for quality and condition, determining if they are eligible for credit or replacement.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, warehouse, and quality control, to facilitate the return process.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns and complaints related to returns and credits.
  • Maintain accurate records of all returns, credits, and exchanges.
  • Ensure timely processing of credits and refunds to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze return data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate measures.
  • Communicate with customers regarding return status, credit approvals, and any additional information required.
  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a wholesale, cold storage and warehouse environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Knowledge of return policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
