The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

  • Serving ice cream and desserts to customers is a key part of this role. This will involve working at the front counter, operating a cash register and handling customer transactions.
  • Cleaning freezers and maintaining a clean store environment is also an important responsibility. This will include regular cleaning schedules, restocking shelves and keeping the store tidy.
  • Ordering stock and managing inventory is another key part of this role. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage stock levels, monitor inventory and order new stock as required.
  • Performing opening and closing duties, including daily safety record sheets is also an important part of this role. This will include setting up and closing down the store, performing basic maintenance tasks and monitoring the store's security systems.

Prior retail experience is highly valued but not required for this role.
