Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist/Counsellor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to support student success, including assessments, interventions, and counseling. They will also work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to promote positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, and counseling.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student well-being and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate qualification in educational and developmental, clinical, counselling or school psychology.
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia under AHPRA.
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police History Check (satisfactory).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A strong commitment to promoting student well-being and safety.
