About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at REO Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the production of monthly management reports, including the preparation of financial data for the Board, Executive Reporting, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Leverage knowledge of existing finance team members to assist with the regular cadence of reporting and financial analysis with the business.
  • Analyse and understand the relationship between general ledger and project costings to ensure alignment with direct project costs throughout the year.
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and useful overhead financial reports, tailored to end-user requirements.
  • Assist the Project Accounting team and Manager, Management Accounting & Reporting with the Annual True-Up process to ensure customers receive relevant and accurate information.
Requirements
  • Experience within commerce or industry, ideally in the heavy industries, project, or manufacturing sector.
  • Hold CA or CPA qualifications or be studying towards full membership.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • A current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
