Job Overview

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design of water infrastructure projects in Southeast Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of various water infrastructure projects, including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
  • Coordinate, manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • RPEQ/CPEng qualification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
  • Experience in leading project/technical teams.
  • An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
