Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and reporting of all accounts receivable.
The position will involve managing the aged debt process, actively contacting customers for payments, and engaging debt collectors when necessary. The officer will also be responsible for allocating customer funds daily, downloading bank statements from Citibank, banking cheques, and updating customer accounts daily.
Other tasks include resolving account receivable queries, credit requests, A/R journals for transfers, write-offs, and refunds. The officer will also be responsible for taking accounts off stop when necessary, releasing held orders, and assisting in EFT banking updates.
Responsibilities- Manage the aged debt process by actively contacting customers for payments

- Download bank statements from Citibank
- Bank cheques and update customer accounts daily
- Resolve account receivable queries and credit requests
- A/R journals for transfers, write-offs, and refunds
- Take accounts off stop when necessary and release held orders
- Assist in EFT banking updates
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an accounts receivable role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- Comprehensive skills in Excel
- Preferable SAP experience
