About the Role

This is a senior practising accountant position that is central to our long-term succession planning. You will lead a high-performing team to achieve strategic goals and improve productivity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the accounting team to deliver exceptional results and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Implementing and overseeing automation processes and KPI tracking systems to drive efficiency and growth.
  • Ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with financial planning and lending teams to enhance inter-division referrals and drive business growth.
  • Contribution to innovation and digital engagement within the accounting function.
  • Supporting succession planning and mentoring emerging leaders.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • CA or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in a senior accounting or leadership role - Likely currently in a Senior Manager or Principal role.
  • Strong business advisory and tax expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and grow client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
