Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join our team as an NDIS Clinician. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will work closely with clients, their families, and support workers to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose swallowing disorders in clients with a variety of disabilities
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Support Practitioners
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree
- Membership: Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience: Proven experience working with clients with disabilities, particularly those with complex communication needs
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment
