This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Revenue Operations Manager to join a leading public sector entity based in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department's transactional finance function, ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable financial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice on new revenue opportunities, keeping the team updated on relevant legislation and policy changes affecting revenue.
- Analysing own-source revenue performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and helping to develop policies and procedures that govern this.
- Contributing to the development of policies to ensure revenue processes are optimized and compliant with regulations.
- Establishing a system for ongoing review of business processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Advocating for the use of technology to improve the revenue cycle and drive growth.
- Defining and tracking KPIs to assess the performance of the revenue teams and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Cultivating a culture of collaboration within the finance department, encouraging knowledge sharing, and supporting continuous improvement and learning.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in managing large finance teams, a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end functions of transactional finance, strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation, excellent analytical and leadership skills, high proficiency in financial software and databases, SAP desired but not a prerequisite, and strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
