Emergency Medicine Consultant

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Position

Our client in Melbourne is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Emergency Consultants who possess a strong commitment to patient quality and safety, leadership, training, supervision, and education.

This hospital has a supportive and inclusive team environment where they promote patient quality and safety, and provide leadership, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.

The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of a new Intensive Care Unit, additional operating theatres, and two new wards. It has just under 300 beds.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
  • Hold or be eligible for FACEM.
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant level.
  • Be an ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM.
  • IMGs who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
