Manufacturing Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced production technician to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, assembly, and testing of wire ropes, chain slings, and other lifting products.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manufacture, assemble, service, and test various products according to Australian Standards and company policies.
  • Operate hydraulic press, chain cutter, and other testing equipment.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of lifting gear.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
  • Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or stores environment is essential.
  • A knowledge of the Lifting, Rigging, or Safety Industry would be beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and perform basic calculations.
  • Forklift licence with recent experience is mandatory.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, training will be provided.
  • Motivation to learn and progress within the business.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic are necessary.
