Job Title: Manufacturing Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating steel/metal cutting and bending machines on our Lenton Threading Machine.

  • Operate steel/metal cutting and bending machines efficiently and effectively to meet production targets.
  • Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in training and development activities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating steel/metal cutting and bending machines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with manual handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.

About You:

  • Previous machine operation experience.
  • Reliable and able to work full-time hours starting at 2.00 pm.
  • Ability to work in a heavy steel manufacturing environment safely.
  • Can start immediately.

Training Provided:

Training will be provided in all manufacturing areas as this ongoing role will require multiple machine operations. A background operating CNC is highly regarded and depending on your experience a pay rate can be negotiated.
