The Support Coordination Team Leader role is designed to provide leadership and supervision to direct reports, coordinate and monitor the effective provision of services against program guidelines and key performance indicators.

This position involves carrying a small portfolio by facilitating outcomes for people with disability and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in Disability or other related field at Cert IV minimum;
  • A current unencumbered Driver's Licence;
  • A current Working with Children Check (NSW);
  • A Blue Card - WWC (Qld);
  • A Yellow Card - Disability (Qld);
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance;
  • Evidence of full COVID19 vaccination;
  • Demonstrated minimum of 3-5 years' experience working within a Community or Disability Service;
  • Knowledge and experience of working within marginalised communities with complex mental health and physical needs;
  • An understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability and/or mental illness;
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and other relevant legislation;
  • Knowledge and experience of working collaboratively with local community, welfare services and industry partners;
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively dealing with conflict resolution.
