Key Responsibilities- Cost Management Services: Provide full cost management services from pre-contract to post-contract, including estimating, cost planning, and cost control.
- Estimating and Cost Planning: Develop and implement estimating and cost planning strategies to ensure accurate and reliable cost estimates.
- Report Preparation: Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Meeting Management: Manage and coordinate meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss cost management strategies and progress.
- Client Facing: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their cost management needs are met.
- Commission Management: Manage and coordinate commission payments to clients and stakeholders.
- Line Management and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
- Education: Minimum requirement is a Degree in Construction.
- Professional Qualifications: Achievement of Chartered status with AIQS or RICS or equivalent recognized body is preferable.
- Experience: 7+ years cost management/estimating experience, preferably in a private practice or construction organization on real estate roles.
- Business Development: Business development experience, particularly in the context of identifying opportunities with existing clients.
- Leadership: Possess the personality that is capable of determining needs for the business and gain support of the Directors.
- Teamwork: To work within the wider real estate team supporting multiple clients and project directors.
