Job Description:

The role of the Director of Public Prosecutions is a significant one, requiring a highly experienced legal practitioner to lead the prosecution of indictable offences in the Supreme Court and summary offences in the Darwin Local Court.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior legal practitioner to make a meaningful contribution to upholding justice in the Northern Territory.

The ideal candidate will have substantial practical experience in criminal law, highly developed legal and advocacy skills, and a proven ability to work effectively with police, judicial officers, and other government agencies.
