Job Summary:

Service Stream's Utilities division is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join our growing company in multiple Tasmanian locations.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections on residential properties and commercial building complexes throughout metropolitan and regional TAS, adhering to all aspects of AS3000, AS3008, and TAS Electrical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical inspections on residential and commercial properties
  • Adhere to AS3000, AS3008, and TAS Electrical requirements
  • Work independently with a high degree of autonomy
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems
  • Follow processes and procedures correctly
  • Ensure a strong awareness of OH&S work practices
  • Utilize technology such as iPads and software/reporting systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • A Grade Electrical Licence
  • CEC Accreditation (preferred but not essential)
  • Manual driver's licence
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post-trade experience
