Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to become a vital part of our energetic Distribution Centre workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and effectively transport inventory within a bustling environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in forklift operation, attention to detail, and a strong dedication to safety protocols.

This role requires flexibility to support our afternoon shifts during peak periods, with a minimum availability of four days each week, including some weekends. Shift hours may include:

  • 11am-6:30pm (off-peak)
  • 1:30pm-9:30pm (peak)

This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role upon successful completion of the contract. Our Distribution Centre is conveniently located near public transport, and there is ample on-street parking available.

Candidate Requirements

  • Availability for at least four days a week, including some weekends.
  • Possession of a valid Forklift License and relevant operational experience.
  • Ability to adhere to safety instructions and protocols.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Physical fitness to manage the demands of a hands-on role.

Safety Commitment

Successful candidates will be required to provide and wear appropriate safety footwear during shifts. A high-visibility uniform will be supplied.
