Labourforce is seeking a skilled Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our team in the Erskine Park area. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate high reach and counter balance forklifts to move goods around the warehouse and yard.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Identify and report any hazards or issues within the warehouse or yard.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Perform manual handling tasks and material handling duties as required.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of frequently used materials.
  • Store returned items in a tidy manner within storage areas.
  • Provide direction to suppliers, deliveries, and contractors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Forklift Licence and experience are essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate high reach and counter balance forklifts.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in forklift operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday with overtime as required.
  • Physically fit, with ability to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual, with own reliable transportation.
  • Available to commence ASAP.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Check.
