Job Title: Automotive Electrician

Your role will be to service and maintain a variety of Caterpillar equipment, including underground, surface, building, and construction machines.

Based in the Kalgoorlie Branch, you will work collaboratively as part of a busy operation, focusing on safety and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair Caterpillar products out in the field from the Kalgoorlie branch and possibly across the Goldfields region on various customer sites.
  • Carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing, managing work orders effectively.
  • Operate in a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised Automotive Electrical Technology Trade Certificate with post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment.
  • Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision.
  • Previous post-trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment.
  • Strong safety values and the ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks.
  • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Hold a Forklift ticket and have a minimum of LR Drivers Licence.
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience.
