About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Lifestyle Program Coordinator to enhance the wellbeing of our residents. The ideal candidate will possess leadership and quality management skills, ensuring a high-performing lifestyle services team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing lifestyle programs tailored to individual needs, preferences, and goals. This will involve active participation in program delivery, conducting comprehensive lifestyle assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation of resident engagement.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Lifestyle Program Coordinator will manage and mentor the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful activities. They will also provide support and guidance to new team members and volunteers, foster positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers, and facilitate community engagement opportunities.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience working in lifestyle services within aged care settings
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cognitive and physical abilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of current aged care quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and all levels of staff
  • Current COVID and annual flu vaccination (mandatory)
  • National police check (mandatory)
  • NDIS check (desirable)
