We are seeking a seasoned Security Strategist to spearhead our information security initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and implement robust policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as IS18 and ISO27001/ISO27002.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IS18, Essential Eight and ISO27001/ISO27002 requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct threat and risk assessments to evaluate vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Security Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to assess security needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Awareness Training: Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to enhance understanding across the organization.
  • Incident Response: Lead security incident response efforts, including detection, resolution and detailed reporting of security incidents.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of evolving threats, compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes, policies and procedures.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
