Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our casual pool at Northern Beaches Hospital. The successful candidate will have experience working in an acute hospital setting and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to admitted inpatients
  • Deliver small group education to specific patient populations
  • Work collaboratively with Medical Officers and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment and evidence-based interventions
  • Provide dietary counseling and education to various patient groups
  • Contribute to quality improvement and education programs
Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics that meet the requirements for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Recent and relevant clinical dietetics experience in a comparable inpatient acute care setting
  • Up-to-date knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetic practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload demands
  • Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and workplace education
