About the Role
  • Greet all patients and their families with empathy and understanding, creating a welcoming environment throughout their hospital stay.
  • Support the clinical team by preparing patient files, appointment lists, and coordinating with other ward clerks as needed.
  • Contribute to medical record filing and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, facilitating seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals, wards personnel, and other departments as required to ensure efficient patient treatments or transfers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks, plan ahead, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to work independently in a self-directed environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Experience using healthcare software systems such as Webpass Medical System.
  • Prior experience working in a ward environment.
