Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Developer to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key player in our market expansion, you will be responsible for building and nurturing customer relationships, prospecting new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the EV Charging sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement
    • Engage directly with potential clients to understand their needs and address their concerns.
    • Develop and maintain a well-structured lead database to ensure effective lead management.
  • Sales and Business Development
    • Prospect and engage with potential clients to introduce them to our smart EV Charging solutions.
    • Negotiate impactful deals and ensure exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Analyze the costs and benefits of potential customers to guide strategic decisions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and market shifts to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a technical environment, with a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Established network among installers, such as electrical wholesalers, energy management companies, and specialized EV infrastructure providers.
  • Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills to drive successful partnerships and close deals.
  • Perseverance and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and commercially minded, with a passion for renewable energy.
  • Fluency in English.
