We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective partnerships across multiple employment services areas.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have experience in employment services, with knowledge of disabilities and the disability support sector. They will also possess strong skills in identifying, assessing and developing new opportunities aligned with business strategy.
The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining effective partnerships across multiple employment services areas;
- Establishing, maintaining and nurturing strategic partnerships with disability services, RTOs and TAFE's, schools and other community groups;
- Increasing commenced caseloads through relationship building in the community;
- Facilitating collaboration between external partnerships and EPlus Inclusive Employment Australia teams;
- Attending and supporting industry events, market days and showcases, representing Employment Plus to employers, service providers and participants;
- Generating monthly Community Development reports and Employment Services Areas profiles;
- Supporting our network of employers on adoption of disability employment practices;

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in employment services, with knowledge of disabilities and the disability support sector;
- Strong skills in identifying, assessing and developing new opportunities aligned with business strategy;
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to manage competing demands;
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion;
- Self-motivated, autonomous and capable of maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally;
- Attention to detail, high standards of professionalism and customer service excellence;
You must also hold a driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required.
