About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Shell Energy. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our technical team and driving the development of innovative eMobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical direction of our eMobility team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in eMobility, cloud architecture, and software engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Identify and prioritize technical debt, and develop plans to remediate and improve the overall technical health of our systems.
  • Work closely with the Architecture and Enablement team to ensure that our technical solutions are aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product owners, architects, and business leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our technical solutions.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Engineer or Technical Director role, with a strong background in eMobility, cloud architecture, and software engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence technical teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in eMobility, cloud architecture, and software engineering, with a focus on innovation and improvement.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical expertise in multiple areas, including cloud architecture, software engineering, and eMobility.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
