Electrical BIM Technicians play a crucial role in the success of construction projects by creating and managing accurate 2D and 3D electrical models.

Job Description

Our team is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Technician to support the design and model coordination across renewable energy and substation infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating and managing accurate 2D and 3D electrical models using AutoCAD and MicroStation, supporting the electrical design of HV and LV systems, coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project BIM standards and relevant ISO frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Experience in electrical design for renewable energy and substation projects.
  • Strong understanding of HV and LV systems, including primary/secondary schematics.
  • Experience working with or contributing to federated BIM models and using common data environments (CDEs).
