Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in Brisbane. The successful applicant will have a strong background in occupational rehabilitation and be passionate about supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions.

This diverse role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own day while being supported by a strong, close-knit team of healthcare professionals.

Duties:
  • Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological;
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return-to-work outcomes;
  • Assist clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes through comprehensive assessments and support plans;
  • Work with employers and employees to develop suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Rehabilitation or related field;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation industry;
  • Fabulous communication skills - building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills are essential;
  • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
