We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Learning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our education leadership team, you will be responsible for providing educational leadership and management of the Regional Learning Specialist program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide educational leadership and management of the Regional Learning Specialist program, including developing and implementing educational strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of specialist subject teachers who teach Year 11 and 12 ATAR courses in the Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities and Social Sciences learning areas.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional and rural schools to enhance the learning programs of their students.
- Provide professional guidance, expert advice, and additional resources to teachers in regional and rural schools to support the delivery of ATAR courses.
- Travel within the state to deliver face-to-face tuition and support to regional and rural schools.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia.
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- 11.5% employer contributed superannuation, increasing to 12% by July 2025.
