Job Summary
Clough Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Materials/SMP QC Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our Perdaman Project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials received at the project site comply with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate materials received at the project site against project specifications, using inspection and document review.
- Execute specific inspections on material, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures.
- Verify that supplies are in compliance with purchase orders and project specifications.
- Confirm that materials and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, and handled.
- Check that materials are correctly identified and traceable.
- Carry out visual checks on materials delivered to the operating site, verifying the integrity of the supply and correct marking of items.
- Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls, and inspection documents, ensuring that all material and testing-related records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
- Issue relevant Inspection Material Reports and/or Receiving Inspection Reports, Non-Conformity Reports.
- Work cooperatively with construction, subcontractors, and client QA representatives in a team environment with transparent sharing of information to the benefit of the project.
- Provide input into weekly quality reports to the Project Quality Manager.
- Report any discrepancies or concerns immediately upon discovery to the Site Quality Manager.
- Provide quality-related guidance to all stakeholders.
- Conduct in-process audits to determine adequacy and effectiveness of quality control activities being performed throughout the project to meet the requirements of the approved Quality, Inspection, and Test Plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a QC Inspector.
- Experience in oilfield-related plant/facility construction.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access).
- Strong communications and writing skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Qualification.
- CWI Certified Welding Inspector.
- NACE II Coating Inspection.
