Caravan Service Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled technician to undertake a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks, as well as installing various caravan accessories and upgrades.

  • Executing daily work based on advice from the service manager
  • Performing brake, bearing, and underbody services on caravans
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs as required
  • Installing parts and accessories
  • Removing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing items, including cabinetry and paneling as necessary
  • Performing exterior repairs, including framework, cladding, and aluminum fabrication
  • Installing, diagnosing, and repairing 12v electrical systems and components
  • Examining and testing the operation of parts or systems that have been repaired or installed to ensure completeness of repairs
  • Conducting caravan pre-delivery checks on new vans prior to handover to customers
Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A trade background or previous experience in caravan repair (preferable)
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage jobs with sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Troubleshooting ability to determine causes of operating errors and come up with solutions
  • Positive attitude, self-confidence, and genuine willingness to learn
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Reliability, honesty, and punctuality
  • Ability to work individually and within a team
  • Able to take direction and work to deadlines
  • Experience and competence using hand, air, and power tools of all types

This is a full-time position with normal hours being Mon - Fri, 38-hour week with possible overtime as required. No weekend work is required.
