We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team at a third-generation, family-owned business that partners with major food manufacturers and catering companies across the country.
Our company ensures a consistent, year-round supply of high-quality produce through strong relationships with national growers. Innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing product supply to meet the needs of production and customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Source and purchase fresh produce and food ingredients
- Identify and build strong supplier relationships
- Analyse sales, inventory, and supply data to inform purchasing decisions
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and supply agreements
- Generate forecasts and reports to support operational planning
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar procurement or buying role
- Industry background in food manufacturing, retail, or fresh produce
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
